The global lottery issuer, WLOTTO INC., without borders, has announced that it has renewed its online lottery license for the last 10years, which it obtained from the Cagayan Economic Zone Authority(CEZA) in the Philippines in 2020, when the COVID-19 pandemic began.


A representative from WLOTTO INC stated in connection with this, “As a result of operating the system on a trial basis over the past 2 years, the stability, legality, and reliability of the system operation have been recognized by relevant government agencies, allowing for an unprecedented long-term renewal in the online lottery industry.” They further mentioned, “We have completed the verification of system operation for two years and have received a business license guarantee for the next 10 years, so we plan to officially launch our service as early as next month.”


According to industry sources, the renewal of WLotto’s online license for 10 years was due to the company’s compliance with the Philippines' Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC) management system, which complies with the Financial Action Task Force's (FATF) anti-money laundering laws, a mandatory certification requirement for cryptocurrency services.


"Despite the fact that most of the same or similar companies are denied license renewal due to their failure to meet the AMLC's compliance requirements, WLotto has achieved an exceptional result with 10-year long-term renewal." said a lottery expert.
